Plants That are Toixic To Chihuahuas
While most Chihuahua owners are aware of the obvious dangers from exposed chemicals and open medicine bottles in the house, a lesser known danger comes from some common household and garden plants, which if ingested can cause a number of health problems, ranging from vomiting to seizures or even death. Even if you don't have any plants inside or around your home, it's a smart idea to educate yourself on the ones which ones are toxic and could harm your Chihuahua if eaten. Doing so will allow you to better protect your chihuahua by making sure they're avoiding these dangerous plants.
Note: While these may be some of the most common household plants which are dangerous for Chihuahuas, the list is incomplete. Don't assume that just because a plant isn't listed on here that it's safe for your Chihuahua to eat.
If you believe your Chihuahua has ingested a toxic plant, contact your vet immediately! When minutes could mean the difference between life and death, you have to act fast.
